Red Hat also introduced a lightweight, self-contained version of Developer Hub that can be run on a local machine without Kubernetes.

Red Hat has updated Red Hat Developer Hub, an enterprise internal developer portal based on Backstage. The new release offers a developer preview of Adoption Insights, an analytical dashboard that details how Developer Hub is being used by development teams.
With Red Hat Developer Hub 1.5, introduced April 1 and available now, Red Hat said it seeks to offer a more customized experience to increase developer productivity. Adoption Insights allows development teams to better understand where improvements can be made. The dashboard provides a detailed look at templates and plugins that are being regularly used, metrics around visits and usage, and other information. This enables organizations to make data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and boost productivity, Red Hat said.
Red Hat Developer Hub can be accessed from developers.redhat.com. Also highlighted in the Red Hat Developer Hub 1.5 release is a developer preview of Red Hat Developer Hub Extensions Catalog, which provides a catalog view of community plugins and verified plugins from Red Hat. Information on more than 60 dynamic plugins is viewable through a streamlined interface that makes it faster and easier to onboard new tools and capabilities. The dynamic plugin framework in Red Hat Developer Hub enables management of any plugin at runtime without needing to rebuild and redeploy the portal, Red Hat said.
Red Hat also introduced a locally runnable version of Red Hat Developer Hub called Red Hat Developer Hub Local. The lightweight, self-contained version of the hub allows platform engineers to work on templates, try out plugins, validate software catalogs, and do other tasks without having to install Red Hat Developer Hub on a Kubernetes cluster. Red Hat Developer Hub Local can be spun up in seconds and torn down just as quickly, Red Hat said.

This post is so insightful. It actually reminded me of something I’ve recently explored while learning how to stop overthinking and Let Them Think What They Want: Stop Overthinking, Build Confidence, and Set Boundaries Without Guilt.
If you’ve ever struggled with people pleasing or wanted to truly set boundaries and live unapologetically, this book gives a powerful path toward building self-confidence and improving mental health.
The author gently helps you reclaim your power from people pleasing and overthinking, while nurturing a grounded sense of confidence and emotional strength.

What a thoughtful post—thank you for sharing this. It really ties into something I’ve been working on in my own journey around Let Them Think What They Want: Stop Overthinking, Build Confidence, and Set Boundaries Without Guilt.
It dives deep into the root of overthinking and how to stop overthinking while offering real tools for people pleaser recovery and breaking the cycle of perfectionism.
Personally, it helped me realize how much perfectionism was linked to my fear of what others think, and how freeing it is to finally let them think what they want.
